In October 2002, Lomographers from around the world were selected at random to take a series of pictures of their immediate surroundings. The intention was to capture a single moment - October 24, 10:24 GMT - as it passed through different locations over the globe.
Seven years later, this project is still going on and is open to non Lomographers as well.
To date, the project has seen participants shooting in various cities and towns in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Venezuela, Britain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore.
ten/twentyfour is essentially more than a document of one moment in our lives. It's about taking a closer look at our immediate surroundings and perhaps finding things we've never noticed or imagined before.
Participate in the 2008 edition of this project.
